In most UK areas the NHS now provides talking therapies on a short-term basis only (approximately 12 sessions). In many cases and for many reasons this is often not enough. People seeking longer term therapy therefore, are turning more and more to independent (non-NHS) counselling services. Unlike many other independent providers, we offer entirely open-ended counselling.
Many of our clients choose us simply because they want to be seen quickly, and there can be significant waiting times for NHS therapies. We aim to see new clients within a two-week timescale and to enable wider access to professional counselling services, with concessions available in certain circumstances.
